kinase

Predikin has a new home!

You can access the newer version of Predikin at

http://predikin.biosci.uq.edu.au

The pages you're currently looking at are left for historical reasons only.

Predikin is a system to predict the substrates of protein kinases.

You are looking at the first incarnation of Predikin version 2.0. This version boasts a number of improvements over the original.
You can read about them in the FAQ.

Using the site
Quick start: login as the default user "predikin" using the form on the left, then go to submit a kinase in the Predikin menu.

If you want to use Predikin regularly, you should register and create a username and password. You will then receive a confirmatory email with a link to activate your account.
The results of your predictions are linked to your username, so we recommend that you create an account if you intend to use Predikin regularly.
Note that if more than one user is logged in as the default "predikin" user, it will be difficult to see which predictions belong to you.

Explore the site - we have quite extensive documentation and a number of forums if you want to discuss the website, Predikin or protein kinases in general.
Any problems - leave a message or check for new announcements at the forums.

Commercial usage
Predikin is freely-available for academic research. If you wish to use results from Predikin in commercial research, please visit this page.
